Why are you looking to switch from the current patches you are on if you have found 1 that you aren't reacting to?
I'm sorry to hear about your pain & the issues you have had with certain brands of the patches. I would recommend talking to your pharmacist about other Fentanyl patch options.  They'll know better then anyone which ones are gel & which ones aren't.

Sorry can't be of any more help.

Because the matrix type (Teva, Mylan, etc.) cause a severe allergic reaction on my skin. I am not as sensitive to the Watson brand gel type, and thought I might have the same luck with others of the same style.  I have had fibromyalgia for the past 15+ years, as well as osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative disc disease and joint damage from being a (very bad) gymnast back in high school.  I weigh 110 pounds, and am on 175 mcg of fentanyl q 3 days, as well as 10 mg Norco for breakthough pain. I do not smoke, chew or otherwise abuse my meds. That is the best way to lose the privilege of having them.

Questions answered?  Thank you...P~

Fentanyl is the only med that helps my two degenerative diseases, and turned it down years ago.  Why do you want to know this?, and if you don't mind sharing a little about your situation to possibly help you more appropriately.  Thanks..P~
