Hello there. My pain seems to be the results of sports and wear and tear, from my Chrondomalacia in my knees to my nerve pain in my back/neck.
It stinks, but it's life unfortunately. I almost wish mine came from some type of direct injury so at least I'd know.
NoMo, I tried the patch at 25mcg and never got any relief. Mollyrae is on it and said it can take up to a month for some people. It might just take a little more time for you, sometimes 2-3 days.

According to that chart you're on the right dosage conversion wise, so make sure to inform your doctor if it doesn't do anything for you soon. I hope it does though.
Welcome to the forum!!!! You will find lots of good advice and support here.
I am also the victim of a serious MVA, hit by a Semi tractor trailer rig on the freeway in 2003.
I too like Tuck have chosen to forgive the driver that changed my life, got tired of spending the mental energy complaining about it.
I am pleased to hear that you are in a PMP, I just completed mine at the end of February and it was very beneficial to me and I learned many things that I wasn't aware of.
Your regimen of meds sounds very similar to mine! I just started today 25mcg Fentanyl patch and Oxycodone 10-30mg daily for breakthrough.
I was on about 40mg of Methadone daily but I"thankfully off that now.
Not sure yet about this patch, had it on now for about 14 hours with no noticeable pain relief.
Keep us posted on your progress.
Brian.
Welcome Patrick,
I am glad that you found us. I was the victim of an inattentive dump truck (over-loaded) driver. He was perfectly sober according to the police which doesn't make him any less or anymore guilty. He still destroyed my life as I knew it. I have forgiven him so I could have peace.
My state does not have Pain Management per say. I am followed by my PCP and I am also prescribed opiates.
Sounds like we have some things in common. Week-ends can be slower than week days, therefore our other members may be slow with their welcome. We are a supportive and informational community. It's wonderful to meet you too and I am happy to hear that you will become an active member.
Again Welcome,
Tuck
