Hydrocodone Help

I have a cracked t6 and i am prescribed to Hydro5's. I try to be inconsistant with the drugs but im getting to be immune... will taking one day off lower my tolerence?

Hi Erock,

Welcome to MedHelp.

I'm sorry that you have pain and suffered an spine injury. 5mg of hydrocodone is a small dose. I found that when I took them for a short periods of time (several months) that skipping a day would seem to help with the effectiveness of the drug the next day. However it was not worth struggling through a day of pain so I quickly abandoned that strategy. When taken short term there should not be a high concern of building tolerance.
