Hypnotherapy

Do you think it is possible to heal your own body starting with the subconscious mind doing hypnotherapy?

I'm certainly giving it my all, my best to accomplish this.  What are your thoughts?  I have 2 herniated discs and nerve damage in my neck at the spinal cord causing severe pain.

I've done all the treatments several times.  I wish they would of operated on the other two discs when I had my fusion, but they said a multi fusion at my age was too risky by causing the domino effect.  Both discs that are herniated are also degenerating.  Initially I had 3 disc herniations, but the one they fused was pressing against my spinal cord and I was losing muscle strength  which they then did a fusion.  I do take long acting medications to help ease the pain, but it would be very nice if it wasn't needed.  My body seems to reject a medicine after a couple years causing many problems.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Well, hypnotherapy, behavior therapies etc can help you deal with pain. For your case, the treatment is usually conservative. Usually painkillers and physiotherapy is started. Spinal manipulation, traction, back exercises, massage, etc are done. The patient may have to use specially designed corsets and braces for some time. These help the hernia to fall back into place and remove compression on nerve.  Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
