I'm Happy to be Back......

Hello fellow PM'ers! I am sorry that I was unable to be here as I would have liked to. Medical issues have kept me away from MedHelp for quite some time now. I was finding it difficult to sit at the PC and type because of the herniated disc's at C6&7. I have had a very big increase in my meds which is allowing me to sit here.

I will undergo an MRI  and see the Surgeon on the 27th of this month and will know the outcome then. Surgery has been tossed around as they would extend the fusion at C4&5 to C6&7. This would be the most likely of events.

I hope that everyone has been well and I can't wait to start chatting with you all again.

My very best,
Molly

I understand how you feel.  I can't stay in one position too long due to the neck pain.  I'm grateful for the laptop though.  It's good to see you back. :)  Take care.

Welcome Back Molly. You have been missed. I am hopeful that your physicians can find some solutions to your increased pain.

As you know the vertebrae above and below a fusion are often effected in time...due to the increased movements and demands that the fusion places on them. I am sorry that this has happened to you.

Will look forward to your active participation in our forum. It's good to have you back.

Peace,
~Tuck

Always better to get surgery when it's cold than when you could be out enjoying the nice weather.  Unless you live in the hot south, that is.
It's great to have you back!

Thanks guy's. I knew this day was coming for a long time. Like many others here, I also suffer with DDD. The disc will herniate and then deteriorate. I put off going to see the Neurologist because I knew what the outcome was going to be. It's rather comical though, every back surgery I have had and there has been 5 have been during this time period and that is Fall into Winter.
Well, again I'm glad to be back for now.
