In a very difficult situation here. Any help?

Please bear with me a few moments as I want to be as thorough as possible. Im a long time sufferer (22 yrs) of [still unknown] shooting nerve pains all over my body, literally from the tip of my toe to the top of my head. It happens anywhere at anytime. It can go from a day or 2 with no pain at all, to frequent debilitating pains by the dozens. That's to start. I also have had chronic stomach/intestinal issues since age 8. For most of my younger years I was able to pretty much put up with it. However, everything was stepped up greatly 28 months ago when I suddenly started getting bad bouts of both bowel obstructions and diverticulitis. The latter is one thing but there was apparently no rhyme or reason for the former. Both have resulted in 14 inpatient hospital visits, including 2 surgeries (1 of them major) and a general change in my body which evidently has caused a marked increase in overall pain and discomfort. My issues are as follows: Frequent abdominal area pain, lower back pain, sciatic nerve pain, all over nerve (?) pain, headaches, rectal/anal pain, stomach aches, dull prolonged pains to sharp severe shooting pains. Basically, I'm in some type of pain and/or discomfort almost all the time. I too have stress/anxiety disorder.FYI please understand Im not into drugs or heavy alcohol use. Having spent 80% of my life frequently in the lower strata of the entertainment industry, both have been shoved in front of me often. Aside from a few drinks or a little pot, I have never been remotely interested in the hard, dangerous stuff. On the Rx front, I have been on many medications that haven't worked. I have always had a strangely high tolerance for allmedications--from antibiotics to blood pressure to pain meds. For pain specifically I have tried (some in various strengths) Torredol, Gabapentin, Amatryptiline (sp?), Celebrex, and a few others none of which worked. As a reference, for depression/anxiety I've tried Prozac, Olanzapine, Effexor, Zoloft, Paxil, Wellbutrin, Citalopram, none of which worked. What worked on some level in that dept. was Trazadone (not taken in 4 years) and Xanax (used to take 1.5 MG's per dose/day at very stressful job. Now take 1 mg dose only about 5x/month (can take as many as 90 or 3 per day). As far as pain meds, in the hospital I have gotten Morphine (hated it as it provided 0 pain relief and caused headache). Torredol drip (useless) along with combo of Zofran for nausea & HM (Dilaudid). Ok so that worked, if only for a surprisingly short time. 2 MG's pushed was the max I ever got and was also relatively the most effective. I'd also been prescribed hydrocodone outside hospital with so-so results. The only solace I have is that I continually have unusually high tolerances but also get little to no side effects. All that said, my current primary is a very nice man who takes impressive amounts of time with patients. We've talked in depth about my plentiful issues. For pain he provided generic Percocet, not miraculous but worked fairly well. After a few months and agreeing this'll probably become a long term solution, he prescribed straight oxycodone (w/o acetaminophen). Thus far this has worked  best and with it, I put an honest assessment regarding pain relief at 60%. first Rx of this (20 day supply) I took meds exactly as instructedz-one pill (10 mg) @4 hours. Not only did this do nothing but it interrupted sleep, etc. So I switched it to 2 @8 hours. Better and once in awhile I couple it with 1 Tylenol as a booster. On worst pain days, I occasionally do 3 w/2 Tylenol but only every 12 hours. Regardless, I never allow myself to exceed recommended max daily dosage. Upon 1st Rx renewal request (via patient portal) Doc said he just filled it 3 weeks prior. I reminded him it was a 20 day scrip and how I was taking them. I also said that if he believes I should be taking them differently, or less of, etc. I'll do whatever he believes is right. I received no formal response, just an auto-message saying refill was ordered. So I assumed this meant "no changes. Carry on." Fast forward to the next refill. I again had to remind him it was a 20 day order and this time it was refilled but called in 3 days late. At that time my pharmacist informed me that my insurance now will only be covering Rx's written every 25 days. He seemed to think that was strange and (correctly, it turned out) insinuated that my doctor office may not believe that either without proof, so he gave me a piece of paper to show. Now on this time around, when requesting refill (again via portal) I emailed him an update. I.e. how I've been doing, no negative side effects, 3 bowel movements per day with stool softener, etc. I also informed him of the new rule from my insurance company re: the 25 day thing and hence asked to please switch Rx to 25 or even 30 day instead of 20 strictly for financial reasons (to avoid having to pay out if pocket as it's expensive). Since then, no dice. I suddenly got supposedly red-flagged and also was yet again scolded by asking for a monthly scrip 10 days early. I calmly told the gatekeeper (and they are endless there) that again, this is a 20 day scrip, and also told her that my request for a slight change from 20 to 25 days was due to insurance issues. She callously replied how "weird" that was and grandly insinuated I was downright lying. We are now 4 days past refill date, BTW. Next morning at her request I brought in the pharmacy's insurance paperwork as proof, plus the scrip paperwork clearly stating "Day's supply: 20". I also brought in the empty bottle stating dosage instructions and that I asked the doc to tell me if I'm doing anything wrong or should be doing my dosing differently, to which he replied with simply a refill. She had stated clearly on the phone that this pharmacy paperwork proof will be the difference between my getting a scrip refill or not. She could easily see I was in a lot of discomfort and pain as well at the moment, while also confirming (to her apparent surprise) that I indeed did bring in the proper proof! "I'll scan this right over to the doctor (9 am Friday) and it shouldn't be a problem from here." I thanked her and asked should there be another issue to PLEASE call me or someone message me in the portal. So here we are, the start of Tuesday, Day 8 past refill date, and nothing. No refill, no call, no communication whatsoever. I believe I am very tolerant of this office's blatant disregard to doctor/patient confidentiality and other related ethics issues that seem to go ignored. I have had to explain my actual issues to many people there aside from my actual doctor, most if which are NOT medical staff, but only office and reception staff! To no end will I ever understand that. So the windup is now I seem to be red flagged as some kind of pill chaser. Nothing could be further from the truth. I finally FINALLY found a medication that works not miraculously, but satisfactorily, and it seemingly gets yanked away from me for no reason other than my following the instructions verbatim! Side note: doctor and I communicate amazingly well 1 on 1. It is ONLY when his staff, assistants, secretary etc. get their noses involved that it's a problem, and every time. They tend to have a casual, immoral smugness that emanates as them thinking they have way more power than in actuality, and any power they do have (such as blocking the doctor and I from actually speaking even by writing) is often unnecessarily misused and even abused. I felt as if she almost enjoyed the fact that not only was I extremely frustrated, but also in physical discomfort. So what recourse do I have here, if any? How can this situation be rectified? It has been a horrible, painful week most of the time and I'm not asking to be Superman, but just to get by, and not begin to start hate being alive because being alive means being in pain. Thank you for reading all this and double thank you for any help or advice you can give.
