How long did it take from putting the patch on to feeling pain relief?

Please excuse my tardy response. I hope by now you are experiencing some relief with the Butrans Patch.
Like most "Pain Patches" it can take as long as 72 hours before you feel the full effect of the medication. It's a bit slower as it's absorbed by the skin. Usually you can expect to feel some relief in 24-48 hours.
When first using a Pain Patch it's common to begin with a low dose. This tells your Practitioner how well your system is utilizing the drug- and what dosage level you require. It's also common to increase the dose as your system adjusts.
