Knee swellimg

My right leg for no reason will get this hard knot on the inter part of knee, and after using ice pack, it was worse, but using a heat pad, swelling will go down and knot is gone. Then the area will be normal for weeks and for no reason it will flare up and I can not walk or straighten leg.

An orthopedic surgeon can evaluate this for you and suggest your options

I'm not a doctor but it sounds like it could be a cyst. My hubby had one, he had it drained a few times but it kept coming back. He ended up having knee surgery and it was discovered that it was the fluid in the knee leaking out into a pocket and it was gone once he had the surgery. I'm not saying you need surgery but it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out by an ortho just to make sure there's no injuries going on in there. Good luck to you.
