Looking for New Doctor in Nothern Virgina

I am trying to find a new Doctor in my area who will keep me on my pain meds. My Doctor who I had for 5 years Retired and Moved. I have 2 herniated Discs and Nerve Problems as well. I have been on Methadone and Roxicodone for breakthrough pain for 8 years. Any Suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

I understand ... I don't mind being tapered down. I just need a new DR. So any kind of referral would be helpful.

Lots of luck really. There is a real 'witch hunt' against pain meds. I have the same issue. I had a debilitating injury 13 years ago. 5 years ago, a new doctor got me on a great medicine. I finally had some semblance of life again. I could get dressed, cook dinner, and shop a bit on some days. This month I went to pick up my prescription and they had lowered it 25%. The script says "tapering" on it , and the doctor and staff are ignoring my phone calls. I am suffering to say the least. Worried about my future. There is just some pain that cannot be lived with. I hope and pray you find help.
