Looking for Pain Mgmt in Minnesota/St Paul.

Hello to all and yes, I'm looking for answers, hope I'm not in the wrong place..
I am going to be moving to New Brighton/ St. Paul, Minnesota in the next year after I get done with my court appointments, and I was wondering if Anyone has an idea of where to look for pain management in Minnesota.. I am in California now, but between 2000 and 2006 I lived in AZ, and when I moved back here(I spent most of my childhood here in CA) I had to start all over again with doctors because my Pain Mgmt specialist did not know anyone in California, and I have been a pain patient for 13 years, but when I moved back here I had to start all over again because I cou;dn't get a referral, and I do NOT want to go through that again.Anyone have any ideas, because I was treated like **** here when I first came back..

Hi and welcome to the Pain Management Forum of MedHelp. I am glad that you have found us. However I am sorry to hear about your pain and the issues you have with obtaining your pain medications.

I live in WI and do not know any PMP in MN. In our state it is PCP that manage your pain. PMP do not prescribe narcotics. We have several members that live in your area. If they do not respond soon I will send them a PM. Our members log in at different times and often different days.

Good luck to you. Please keep in touch. Peace, Tuck
