Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums.  Thank you for your question.  For those reading, here is information on this type of surgery.  https://emedicine.medscape.com/article/2000818-overview.  Have you reconnected with your doctor or seen your primary care doctor to discuss the ongoing pain?  Did it just begin or has it been going on since the surgery three years ago?
