Pain from left buttock all the way down to left knee and sometimes ankle.

This is progressively getting worse and I don't know what to do because I don't have insurance. I am only 17 and I've been searching for this for forever and it seems like it is sciatica. I can't even stand up straight without it hurting terribly. I take 800mg of Ibuprofen 2x/d and that makes it go away some, but it always comes back and worse than the last time. The only reason I can't go to the Dr is because I have no Insurance and I have none because I don't live with my Father or Mother. Is there any way I can treat this myself because for the time being, the Dr said a visit would cost $300... Anything will help, I can barely keep myself from crying from this pain.

Jacob, I am very sorry to hear this.  Did you fall or lift something heavy?
If I were you I would go to a hospital emergency room for help.  That is just me. It is possible they would run an MRI to see what is happening.
