I've been on Norco for several years and recently noticed that I have developed some king of twinge/pain in a very strange area.  I've read on several web sites that opiates can cause a person's colon to spasm.  Has anyone here developed a pain/twinge in the rectum area?

I too have never heard of this side effect nor have I experienced it due to opiates. I would not chalk it up to the medication but rather have it looked into for other causes.

I have never heard of this problem but that does not mean it does not exist. It may just be a side effect that your experiencing.
