Oxycodone Question: Help!

Hi. I have been on 7.5mg of Vicoprofen for about 3 months now. I was taking anywhere from 3-5 pills twice a day, sometimes three. My dr. put me on Oxycodone yesterday - 10mg. I took one this morning, and I have felt absolutely no pain relief. I took another about two hours later, and still nothing. Does anyone know why this is? I have never taken anything stronger than hydrocodone before, and from what I understand, this is supposed to be a powerful analgesic (oxycodone). I don't get it!

Keep in mind while the one oxycodone pill is strong than one vicoprofen, if you were taking 3 -5 at a time (which is higher than any dosage i have ever heard of, and I worked in pharmacies for YEARS) it will not be as strong because of the difference in total drug in your sistem.

About equal effects of analgesia , with the short term formulations including tylenol. But they produce a different kind of analgesia then loratabs. But if it's not working effectivly he could put u on a
higher dosage extended relief formulas , as u are probly built a opiate tolerence.
