What can I do to prove my innocence/clear my name? I’ve been so upset over this.

I was in the hospital for a week. The day after I get out (got out that evening) went to my regular dr that next morning around 930am.  The dr I see in the hospital owns a couple clinics in my area. I can’t see him (dr Jones) personally at his main clinic because my ins don’t cover. So I go to his other clinic and see the nurse practitioner. Well dr Jones was giving me my pain meds in the hospital. Then he told me when I get out to go to his clinic for refill. So I go like he told me. I failed the drug test. I’ve NEVER taken drugs in my life! He said I failed it with meth! AGAIN NEVER DID THAT NOT EVEN EVER BEEN AROUND IT!!!!! I told the nurse practitioner I had justtt gotten out the hospital that I was in there all week! I told him it had to have been something they gave me. Cause I do not do drugs!!! Well he didn’t send my urine off or contact DEA about ALLLLL the many meds as I am on for my heart and blood pressure and reflux and bipolar depression etc. well he put in my file “no pain meds. Failed drug test with meth”. I told them that is wrong! One dr told me it could’ve been my reflux medicine. I even told them to do a hair follicle test or anything to prove my innosence. What can I do to prove to them I’m not on drugs??? I just don’t understand why he put that in my file and labeled me as that without even sending it off for a better test or contacting the dea.  What can I do??? I’m SOOO UPSET over this!!!

You can request a hair follicle test. Unfortunately most meds remain in the urine for 1-3 days, with a few lasting a bit longer. So if it's been longer than that, the only option is a hair follicle test which will show the last 6 months.
