Hello Liz,

I am so sorry to hear that you are having chronic untreated pain. I'd like to welcome you to our Pain Management Community.

I agree that your symptoms sound like a sinusitis. What kinds of physicians have you seen? Have you had imaging done of your sinuses? If not I would request one. Sinusitis can be difficult to treat. I am prone to sinusitis and have had to have up to six weeks of ATBs to completely clear it.

We have other communities that may offer additional suggestions. I have provided the links below.

Be assertive and insist on answers. If your current PCP will not investigate your painful symptoms please don't hesitate to get a second opinion. I hope you will let is know what you discover. We'll look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Best Wishes,
~Tuck

Liz this sounds like you may have sinus problems. I'm not a professional, but these are all sinus problem symptoms. Do you have pressure behind your eye? And try this: tap on your forehead and cheek bone right under your eye, if it is painful to do so, your sinuses are probably inflamed. You may need to see an ear, nose, throat doctor to find out what exactly is wrong. Please let me know if this is helpful
