Hi, i am 6-months post PCL reconstruction. So far my rehab has been going well, however today after sitting my damaged knee crossed over my good knee during a meeting, i stood-up and my knee has started clicking and feels really uncomfortable. Do you think that i may have indadvertedly caused some damage to the graft (I don't usually sit in that position...)?

Hi!
There is a rare chance of graft rupturing during rehabilitation exercises and this can cause popping sounds. Other ligament and meniscal tears can also cause popping sounds. You can also develop Patellofemoral syndrome due to over tight or over lax muscles around the knee joint. This will improve with physiotherapy. Please consult your surgeon regarding this. Take care!
