QUESTIONS REGARDING LYRICA AND WEIGHT GAIN.???

Hi there, I'm Sandy from Australia. In a Nutshell I have Fibromyalgia and Heamachromatosis AND I have just lost 56 kilos after Sleeve Gastrectomy. My Rheamatolidgist put me on Lyrica and I can tell you I don't know how I am even sitting here typing this. I feel so slow and off the planet. :/ My question is, WHY does the Lyrica make you put on weight. Is it just your appetite increases? Please explain how it puts on weight as I don't CAN"T put on when I have worked so hard at losing. I still have 15kgs to lose and when I am pain free enough wil;l be walking and some weight training etc. Thank you in advance for you advise. Cheers from Oz. :)

I gained 35 from lyrica and it hasn't helped at all for my small fiber neuropathy. I'm weaning off of it

I gained l6 pounds in two weeks.  I'm not sure what causes the weight to pile on.  My appetite was pretty much the same.

I'm not sure why you gain weight with Lyrica but I can tell you I gained 30 lbs while on it. I ate everything in sight. I have been off of it a couple years now and have a lot of nerve pain. I wish I could continue taking it but I can't right now. I hope you are able to find a happy medium.
