Scar Tissue ?

Hello all ,
I have had some sever pain for the past month where i had surgery 2 years ago in my groin area to take out a lymph node. That surgery went well and all tests came back negative , but now i have a lot of pain in the same area. I have been to the dr who refereed me to a surgeon . A ct did not show anything abnormal but i am still in a great deal of pain and its very hard for me to sit up straight or drive a car. He thinks it might  be small hernia or scar tissue pressing on a nerve from the previous surgery . He has now give me the choice of waiting and seeing if it gets better or having a surgery to see if they can find anything . I have no idea what to do . I do know the pain is not getting better its getting worse and i cant keep up my daily life with this pain . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated .

Trudie has a great suggestion. I would like to add that I suggest getting a second opinion or having further test done before you have surgery.
Dealing with pain day in day out is very hard and you really need some relief. Have your doctors given you anything for pain?

Something to try is ball rolling.  It has been successfully used to help scar tissue and adhesions from surgery.  If you go to the ovarian cyst forum here on MedHelp and then to the health pages attached to it (top right) there is a posting for dealing with adhesions.  It is worth a try.
