Severe headaches

I have had migraines for 12 years now.... got worse 3 years ago when they found a pituitary tumor and last year found an aneurysm....had a hysterectomy when I was 28 and have been on HRT since.  My headaches are so bad lately..I have menopauseal symptoms really bad and all the drs did was up my premarin which isn't doing anything.  I am at my end with the pain....Help!!!!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I know if you use your pain meds to much you get rebounds but the pain won't let up.  They won't operate as I have an autoimmune disease and they say it is too risky.

You're welcome.
You can go to this website to find all the inactive ingredients in your meds:
http://pillbox.nlm.nih.gov/pillimage/search_results.php?s=0&np=3&hide=0&getimprint=&getshape=&getfirstcolor=&getsecondcolor=&getsize=&getscore=&getingredient=Cephalexin&getinactiveingredients=&getauthor=&getDEAschedule=&submit=Search&display=20

(premarin goes by the name northindrone so that is what you will have to look up)
Another good website to find inactive ingredients is http://www.rxlist.com/script/main/hp.asp
If that does not work you can go to drugs.com

Thank you for the advice....my pain Dr had put me on a strict diet 3 years ago which is nothing from a cow, so no dairy at all, no beef in any form, no rice, no wheat of any kind no night shade vegetables.....but never looked at the ingredients of premarin.  My pain Dr wanted me to change hrt meds but my family Dr just up the dose due to symptoms increasing so I will mention and get it changed.  Don't know if it will help but can't hurt....thanks again.

Can you find a doctor who will prescribe bio-identical hormones. The HRT could be causing your migraines.
http://diplomatpharmacy.com/patient_services/bio_identical_hormone_therapy/
Also dairy can cause migraines and there is at least lactose and more than likely lactose monohydrate (think lactose on steroids) in your premarin.

I hope this helps,
