Side pain in middle of the night.

HI, I'm almost 35 and I woke up in the middle of the night with sever right side pain just above my hip bone, I curled up and just dried. This has never happened before. I turned on my stomach and eventually fell back asleep. I feel ok when I got up but this has never happened before. Now I just have a dull ache, what's going on?

Sounds like gallblader. Differential diagnosis is by ultrasound exam.
