Hello Lilevil,
A tardy Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am sorry to hear about your undiagnosed pain. I see by your update that it hasn't changed and you have not consulted your PCP.
This pain could have multiple sources. Consider anything from a Spinal Structure Issue to Gastrointestinal to Inflammation in your ribs or an organ that may be in distress.... or any number of other conditions. What's important is that you have a good clinical evaluation. Although it's not likely you should also consider a Cardiac issue.... pain is your bodies way of signalling to you that something is not right. Never ignore pain.
Pleas let us know how you are doing and what you discover. We'll look forward to hearing more from you.
Take Care,
~Tuck
The feeling I get is like a heavy arm laying over my side, pain is not severe more annoying. Could be my back, sometime I have lower back pain. Well worth checking into, I have thought about a chiropractor. Thanks, I hope that it is more muscular than anything too serious.
I had the same pain on the same side. My wife used to lay her arm on my side and it would wake me up in severe pain every time. I wound up seeing a neurologist/orthopedic surgeon and found L-2, L-3, and L-4 (lumbar spine discs) had herniated. I would have it checked out by mri or cat scan. You probably have some damaged or ruptured discs in your spine
