Slumber Party

Slumber Party at my house tonight.  Anyone interested, ha,ha.  Ok, mama Sherry, Tuck, Bree, I am STAYING in tonight, I got my epidural and dragged myself in. He did look me over and we talked about my stimulator trial that should be coming up soon.  He will call and let me know if it can get scheduled. I'm glad I got the epidural, but am tired.  Bree, I DID have to work today, I really couldn't get out of it, but it ended up ok.  I made it through and it went ok but I'm glad I'm home.  I don't know about the weekend, I'm probably staying in and just doing a lot of nothing but be around my kitty cat.  My kitty has felt neglected with  me being in the hospital so much so I need to give her some extra attention this weekend.  Right now she's sitting right next to my keyboard, I think that's a hint to stop typing and to pet her.

Hair of the dog is my recommendation.  Because of meds and my dh's drinking, I don't drink very often but if memory serves, it does work.

It's truly amazing how much fun we can all have when we think of it.  The cops coming for disturbing the peace from our outlandish playing and singing was hilarious, especially when they all started joining in.  I'm glad my place is about 1000 sq foot, so everyone fit pretty comfortable, and the massages were great too!  I love all the pj's and glad you all liked my pink princess pj's, nothing else was more comfortable.  Melissa is still passed out out my couch (ha, ha) maybe we should wake her to start some coffee and eat some of the great buscuits that she baked.  Jade and Melissa can really sing, Sandee you are so funny,  and of course we were glad Jamie came along because we havent heard much from you lately. Tuck you are a great player, and it was a lot of fun to hang out with each and everyone one of you!!!  

You all are truly the best!  Thank you for making me smile at our imaginary playdate and thank you all for making me feel so much better.  If I forgot any of you in this post, please know it was not meant as I care and love each and everyone one of you.  Also on a side note, I was so happy to see a note from GSW, I hadn't seen him on here for awhile and thought we had lost our guy for awhile.

It SOUNDS perfect!!  

The Biscuits and the Grape Jelly were perfect!!! Especially with the Fresh Butter.  

Now that my Tummy is full I think that I MIGHT have to be a Party-Pooer and go to sleep. :(

Have to get up early as My Granddaughter WILL be coming in VERY early tomorrow morning. (She Always does.)

We won't be embarrassed by your long white gown Mama Sherry .It's all about comfort here .I canned some concord grape jelly .I am up baking biscuits right now .I couldn't sleep so I'm baking .I will bring some biscuits and some strawberry jam and grape jelly that I made .I also have fresh butter my hubby made ; ) .He shook fresh milk in a mason jar and made butter .How cool is that ? .He also made some awesome bacon so a little of that for our biscuits .I also have some coffee on .What else do we need ?

I hope that you all won't be EMBARRASSED once again by MY Long White Granny Gown with the Long Sleeves to keep my Arthritis warm!!!  I wish I had some REALLY neat Betty Boop PJ's OR KittyKat PJ's!!  They ALL sound SO Cute!!!

Melissa has been canning some YUMMY Grape Jelly  (I forget which) and some GREAT Saurkraut and canned Tomatoes!!! There's a LOT to choose from!!!

Yum!!  It will go right along with everything else that we'll be doing!!!

Okay, all those that can should play our pianos....I know Jaybay plays too .....the rest must sing or bring an instrument of their choice. We'll probably all be ticketed for Disturbing The Peace.:)

My Niece just got her license for massage and oh my it is so great! She is definitely talented! I have a standing order for every tuesday:)
I will have to bring her along so you all can have one of her awesome massages!
Seriously though for Fibro Pt's it is a godsend! It relaxes those muscles and it makes for a much lower pain level for a couple days.
If you have Fibro then the massages can be paid for thru your insurance just get your Doctor to write a prescription. I used to do this years ago.

Hey I want in on this slumber party ! I have my kittykat pjs ready and I can sing too .Me and Jaded can be the singers .Hey Jaded I have dibs on the masseuse first ! LOL! .I need a slumber party .We have been canning all week and I am worn out . I feel like I've had the tar beat out of me .LOL! Thank goodness no more canning until the apples come on .Yep, I am so ready for a slumber party .

I actually play the piano as well.  I am sorely out of practice and never got as far as I would have liked to with it, but I have been considering taking it up again with a weighted electronic piano/keyboard as I have heard that music can be very therapeutic for pain.  I also have a guitar that I could bring if someone else plays!  (Never did much with the guitar, either, and it's much harder to get into than the piano)
I can sing, though.  I enjoy karaoke very much and I'm not very good, but it's fun.  I took voice lessons with piano and wasn't studious in either.
It's all about the fun, though.  We will have a ball.  I also have new pjs to accomodate my big belly.  I also vote we all get together and hire a masseuse for the night.  Massages for everyone!
I hope you're doing well today, Karen and getting some good rest!  (so that you can stay up all night partying. ;)

I am so glad that you dragged yourself to that epidural. It would have been a shame if you had to wait another 6 weeks to get back in. So BRAVO for you. I admire your strength and determination.

I'm ready for the PJ Party. I just made some latte, no flavored of course...the only kind I like. I'd be happy to share it with you AND my fresh bought bakery Kringle!! Delicious!!

And if you'll play your keyboard, I'll play my piano...we'll have a grand time!

Epidural was good, and I plan on resting.  Yes Jamie, my kitty did miss me a lot and Flower I am going to rest as much as I can.  I'm just trying to relax and enjoy without the heat!

I am so glad you got your epidural shot today. I know how much it helps with your pain. I bet your kitty really missed you. You need to rest with her this weekend! I think you will feel so much better if you do. I really missed talking to you when you was in the hosptial and was worried about you!!
