Sudden heel pain

I am having some strange pains in my heel. It happens suddenly. It doesn't matter if I'm laying, sitting, or standing. Most of the time its when im nonactive. I feel a sharp, stabbing pain, as if someone takes a needle and jabs it into my heel. It only lasts for a couple of seconds, then it's gone and I feel no pain at all. It happens randomly but not often
