Thigh/lower back pain

Hi, all. In no means am I saying I have bone cancer - I'm just looking for advice as this is very unusual for me. I'm a 20 year old female and the past few weeks i've been waking up with a weird achy annoying pain in my right thigh, at the very top (near pelvis i imagine?) usually it goes away but today it's stayed and continued into the day, hurting when I walk. It feels like I need to crack it and like what I can only describe as a pulled muscle. I can't tell if it's swollen to be honest. Any ideas what it could be? it's a niggling pain and very frustrating when I'm walking. Hopefully it'll go away on it's own? I think I'm way too youg to have any sort of arthritis anyway.. Thanks.
