Why do my nipples sting when I cough

The last 2 days I have bin coughing/choking to the point I'm nearly sick and then when it gets that bad my nipples all of a sudden give me sharp pain at the tip. I know this sounds a bit strange but it gets very sharp (like when I use to breast feed and I was full and they started leaking) any idea what it could be??

I wish I had an answer for you - I don't. Hopefully another member may be able to help you with your question. I would certainly consult my PCP is this continues to be an issue.
