Subutex question

Long story short....I have had a problem with pain pills and i have been going to a pain managment doctor for a couple months.....I have been running thru the pills at an alarming rate...

I went and talked to a doctor and got script for Subutex.....This has been the only thing that has ever worked for me that i did not abuse...

Question....Will the pain man doctor find out imm when i fill this script for Subutex.....?

It sounds like you might want to stick with the substance abuse forum on this issue for more advice.  Good luck it sounds like you know the road you need to take now it's just taking it. Be strong

Well my PM does not do the Suboxone thing....I just went to sub doctor today (cash) b/c thats the only way in....
So i quess i should call PM and tell them that i need to drop out...b/c i know for sure that i can not do pain pills....I will always do to many they will never last and i will always buy more on the street...

I'm cool with that....and i think that is what i have to do....I gotta make this work this time.........I have to.........there can be no more issues.....

Many Drs. offices have a database that they can look in to see if you have been to any other Drs. or had scripts filled.  Yours may not have that yet but it is around the corner.  Just thought I would let you know.

I realized that you were having a problem with your meds the last time you posted. I also don't understand about the Subutex. Is it from another Doctor. Like Mcclos said...BAD IDEA. If your Pain Managemnet Doc finds out, you will be dropped. I'm going to send you a pm...........I have some ideas for you.......Mollyrae

  I am kind of lost on your question.  Are you saying you feel you are addicted and take too much or are you saying you don't get enough relief with the prescribed amount so you take extra trying to control your pain?

Also, are you saying you went to another doctor and not your pain doctor for the Subutex?  If so that's a really bad idea.  It will catch up to you and could get you cut off completely from all your meds.  I think you already know that is a bad idea though.

Is your pain that severe or do you think addiction is making you think it's worse than it is?  Please don't take offense to the questions I am trying to help.
