New script should be any time man specially with dosages changes at least here m Indiana boy do I wish I had my pain meds still
Probably not (because you are asking). Don't risk it, don't upset the doctor.
If I were you, I would telephone the office, and when the receptionist/nurse answers, I would word it like this:
"Hello, I noticed the doctor changed the dosage of my prescription. When am I supposed (use the word "supposed") to get this prescription filled?"
Let THEM tell YOU, and make notes to yourself who you talked to, the time, and date.
If they say (making you feel like an idiot), "Well, a FULL MONTH after your first prescription," THEN, you quickly answer, "I know I know, that's what I thought, I just wanted to make sure, I just wanted to make sure I'm doing what the doctor wants."
You make it like you WANT to switch to the lower dose right away (because that's what Doctor wants), but you weren't sure...
See, if you wait for the full month (and try to be all goodie-two-shoes and do the right thing), some nitpickwick out there will tell you you should have gotten it filled right away, and vice versa (d**d if you do, d**d if you don't LOL).
Good luck!
