you assumed i was talking about myself.i am not cut off. so when i say what if someone was cut off that does not mean the person writing and inquiring about what if?i am not happy that you assume its the person who is writing.i am asking this question because there are other options for people that were cut off.they are in a dilema.thats why i posted this.they need help going somewhere that can help them.i have friends that have been in this situation. they do not wnt to go thru withdrawals.no one does.so if u have any suggestions please let me know.thanks

i asked that question because i do hear from other patients that there dr. cut them off.it could be that the patient was getting addicted or going to other doctors.i had a dr. that thought i was going to another dr. the fact was i had not seen that dr. for a month before i saw him. the dr. i was seeing was not working, and therefore did not write any scripts.i did however had refills on xanax from that dr. that was not working.so when i established myself as a new patient with the second doctor, than all hell broke lose. i was not receiving pain meds from the first doctor, however i still had refills for anxiety.the second dr. assummed i was also getting pain meds, which i was not.then he decided to discharge me.to me that was messed up.i was then humiliated that i was dr. shopping.i diffinitely was not.i tried to do the right thing by establishing myself with a primary care doc.i am only seeing one physician for my pain, but what my point in the previos response is that not all patients are dr,or pharmacy shopping. i hate that people with real pain gets labled as a drug addict.i do not want you to think that my earlier response has anything to do with illegal use.i do every legal.i am dissapointed that my earlier response came off as something illegal.i feel like i cannot write on this forum with atotal misinterpretation in what i am trying to communicate.this was taken the wrong way.this was diffinitely taken the wrong way.i hope in the future i can speak my mind without being accused of some wrong doing.

Hi Roadrunner,

Your question does require more information to respond to with any accuracy. If you are still in pain I would suggest you see another physician. I warn you not to obtain narcotics in any manner than through a physician. I am not suggesting that you would do so but I know that pain can sometimes make us think of foolish actions.

Hang in there Roadrunner. If you can provide us with more information we may have better suggestions for you. Please let us know how you are doing and take care, Tuck
