drug testing

Help. I have had shoulder surgeries and now I have back pain. Well I was involved in a auto accident and since they found my perscription medication in my system I am on probation. So anyway I am on vicodine es, soma and at one point I tried T3. My husbend gets 222 for Canada which I may take when I run out of my meds. Well I took a drug test and they sent to the labs and I just found out that they found codiene, opeants, and benzo. Where did the benzo come from? I never heard of it and I was wondering is Canada codiene the same as the US? I meet with my p.o soon and I have to be perpared. I will talk to my dr. but I am scared.

Ponch:

Hey there ponch, I'm not sure why you said that to me. I remember commenting on a post where someone asked if it was illegal. I do know that if your in an accident the insurance co. will not honor your policy if narcotics are found in your system.
Thank's, Molly

Soma is not a benzo but it probably came up as one on the test. This is a bad drug and lots of doctors don't use it anymore.

Hello Kiki and welcome to the Pain Forum:

The Benzo's come from the Soma that you took. It would not come from the Tylenol 3 or the Vicodin that you took. Canadian codine is the same as the US. I don't know what the 222 is. I don't understand why you are on probation if you have a legitimate prescription for the opiates. It doesn't make sense. Have you been on probation for narcotics in the past? were you on probation before the accident? This would be a reason to worry if you were. Take care,

i think somas are benzos, but i could be wrong... it is definitely possible that Canadian drugs are different.
