Hi mares,

First I want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know that we are glad you found this Forum. I want to let you know that there are NO Doctors on this Forum only CP - Chronic Pain - Patients that help each other with our OWN expertise and experiences that we have developed through our OWN CP Issues.

Have you been to a Doctor about this at all?  If so, what did he/she say about your pain.  How long have you been experiencing this pain?  Is it a burning, aching, sharp, dull OR exactly what does it feel like?  Does it hurt constantly? Many. Possible cervical neck issues. Could be detected by an xray, ordered by your doctor or by a chiropractor. If you're cervical neck is fine, you may want to cinsider life-style daily functions you may be doing that may be causing the pain, such as activities involving the shoulder. If the pain is in both arms, my first thought would be to get your neck examined first. Did you have any head/neck injuries lately? Good luck and best wishes.
