head pain

I came here looking for information about a sharp pain that I had in back of my head tonight. I don't know if I have ever had this before, but if I have, it wasn't recently. The pain started at the back of my head and seemed to travel in a line towards the right side of my face, stopping just behind my year. It came and went for about 2 minutes. I do have lots of neck problems, including a herniated disc at C5 and C6. The pain didn't feel like it was inside my head. I felt like it was in tissue, I think. I have lots of migraine and sinus headaches and those feel like they go deeper than this. Thank you for any input that you have.

No, what I said was, I didn't know if I had ever had it before, wasn't sure, but if I had, it wasn't recently. There was something familiar about it, but if I have had it, it's been a long time, like maybe even years. At this point, I wouldn't consider it recurring.

If you don't remember having one recently, I assume they are recurring. Did you tell your physician? I think it's important that you give the doctor this information. Good luck and God bless.
