That sounds a lot like what I have except it is the right side & sorta radiates up with occ muscle spasms in my right calf. It is like a deep pressure like pain. It is horrible when I am sitting & also sleeping. Can't sleep on the right side or stomach at all. It has been pure misery for 13 years. I have been to ever kind of dr, done all different tx & nothings makes it go away. It has ruined my life in so many ways. Nothing shows up on x rays or MRI. Finally after yrs of searching for a dx a chiropractor dx me with laxity of the ligaments in the SI region causing SI instability thus creating bone on bone pain , also had shingles for years but since it didn't present typically went undiagnosed. Now I have post herpatic neurolgia & cont to have breakouts despite taking Valtrex daily. After awhile I just had pain, stiffness, soreness & weakness all over & was dx with fibromyalgia. I pray you don't have to endure what I have. I went to a pain manegment dr & took opiates for 8 yrs. When my meds stopped helping I tried to tell my dr several times but he wouldn't change anything & I eventually started over taking my pills & would run out everymonth & go thru wd. I ended up with an addiction problem. Now I am being treated for that & am taking suboxone which doesn't help with pain much. I am pretty miserable but thankfully I have a new, very understanding dr & he is considering a morphine pump. Keep me updated. I have found a few physical therapst & occ a chiropractor who can manipulate it & relief the pain but it always comes back either that same day or a few days later

Hi,
You could have nerve damage or even sciatica. If it becomes to painful or begins to spread to other areas I would of course see your doctor and find out what is causing the pain for sure so it can be treated.
I know my sciatica started in that area so that could be the reason for your pain.
keep us updated on your doing and I hope your doing better soon:)
