Management of pain in patients suffering from high blood preasure

How can we manage the pain caused from osteoporosis or the rheumatic pain in a patients suffering from high blood pressure, when acetaminophen doesn't work? Should we use ibuprofen in this case, even if it raises blood pressure? By which mechanism ibuprofen causes this unwanted effect?

Ibuprofen can cause HBP.  I had to stop it for a time but was able to go back on it after my BP came down.

I agree with marycarmel.

I use ibuprofen 800 for my RA/BONE/MUSCLE pains.

However, I do not suffer from HBP.

You need to talk to your doctor about this.  HBP is very serious so you shouldn't take anything without talking to your doctor about it.
