To All, Dah, I am sorry I just noticed that the original post was from 2008. I guess I am a year behind and forgot it was 2009. I saw the January and didn't read any further.
To hurtin4rcertain, if you have a question please feel free to post a new one instead of adding on to an old thread. I am very sorry you are having pain but glad to hear you are seeking medical care.
Peace, Tuck
Hi Ommy,
I am sorry to hear you are having so much pain. I am glad you found us at MedHelp. Welcome to the Pain Management Forum.
I assume you have not seen your PCP. Obviously you should be seen by him/her. The list is long as to what could be causing your symptoms. It is noteworthy that you feel this pain mostly at night as you lay on that side. Doe it originate in your shoulder and is radiating into your chest and breasts? Or are you having chest pain that is radiating into your shoulder? It is impossible for me to determine what is happening. However any kind of chest pain should never be ignored. All the life threatening things such as cardiac should be ruled out immediately. Most cardiac episodes occur upon waking, early in the AM.
I do not think you should wait for at least an initial medical evaluation. I am sorry I do not have a better answer for you. Please seek medical attention asap. Take care and let us know how you are doing. Best of luck and take care, Tuck
I am 39 and experiencing the same symptoms. It is very painful! I also have a hard time getting out of bed, must sleep on my left side and find it hard to take deep breaths. I have seen my Dr. and had XRays, Ultra sound and a CT. Still waiting for CT results. Not my gallbladder so......
