As a male, I also had pain in my breast(chest) area. Immediately I called my doctor and he arranges for a mammogram. Yes, I understand how painful this can be. Unfortunately, this is the only answer. My doctor called me with the results and it did not show any growth but results from steroid shots I have had continually over time.
Please remember, this is a support board, not a medical board. We are people who have experienced many issues and support is what we offer as a group. Anything else should come from a doctor and if you let fear develop, you will never find the cause.
Hope you get the answer you are looking for.
Good Luck and our support is always here if you want to discuss what the doctor told you.

Hello there,

I know the above Medhelp member means well by suggesting a mammogram. May I suggest a possible ultrasound of your chest wall.
Mammograms , I find, are very painful. You could tell your doctor
you would like a referral for a chest ultrasound. I wish you well.

I think you should go for chest x-ray OR mamography.
