Hi Huma,
Welcome to the Pain Management Forum of MedHelp. I am glad you found us. Mollyrae is correct. This pain should be addressed immediately.
Left shoulder pain and chest can be cardiac related. Heart or "Cardiac" pain does not have to come in the commonly know "crushing left-sided chest pain." Cardiac pain can be shoulder, neck, jaw, arm, hand (EITHER RIGHT OR LEFT) or just show itself as extreme fatigue. You need to be evaluated asap.
There are other medical conditions that this pain can be related to but it is important to eliminate the life threatening possibilities first. Avoid any strenuous exercise in the meantime and it the pain returns or becomes more severe please call 911. Let us know how you are doing and be careful, Best of luck, Tuck
Hello and welcome to MH.
Pain in the left shoulder and chest might be something you want to address right away. I would not hesitate to make the next available appt. with your Doc and have it checked out. If the pain gets worse then please seek Emergency care. Be on the safe side.
Take care and good luck,
