You could have Fibromyalgia. Do you have the trigger point tenderness? You can look the specific body sites for the trigger points up on the Internet. Increased sensitivity to pain is the main symptom of fibromyalgia. Some symptoms include widespread Pain, Morning Stiffness, Fatigue ,Chronic Headaches, "Fibrofog"  or Cognitive or Memory Impairment to name a few. If you have these type of symptoms you should discuss them with your PCP.

You are aware the you have lymph nodes all over your body, lots of them. So when you talk about feeling tender bumps lymph nodes some to mind. But I still think the best suggestion is that you see your PCP for a good clinical work up.

I'll look forward to your updates.

Again Take Care,

Hi Slick,

I am sorry I am a bit late responding to your post. And I am sorry that you are experiencing these painful symptoms.

Frankly I am puzzled. When I first read your post I tried to do some research on what may be causing your symptoms but I do not have enough information. When you say you through out your mid-section do you mean your back? Are these painful "bumps scattered up and down both sides of your abdomen?  You said, "at 6 1/2 months I got tested,." tested for what? And what six and a half months? I don't understand that sentence. Please forgive my confusion.

The only thing that I can think of is that you may have inflamed lymph nodes or cysts. When my pain becomes elevated I also have bumps that develop down my leg and on the side of it. I am told that it is my muscles knotting. They are very firm and painful to touch. I also have several cysts that are painful and enlarge do to my SIJ Dysfunction. I've been told that is not uncommon either. So those are my only guesses. I am sorry that I cannot be more specific.

I suggest that you discuss your symptoms with your PCP. Hopefully a memeber will post and have better understanding that I do and will be able to offer you better suggestions.

Best of luck and take care,
Tuck
