stabbing abdominal pain
Pain on lower abdomen. At first i thought it was just dysmenorrhea but then theres this acute stabbing pain that got me hurled up on the floor for 5 secs then the pain is gone. Should i be worried? Could there be something growing abnormally that caused that pain?
Yes. Sometimes though when you feel pain like that it could be cyst related.

Its on my right. And yes i think its around the ovaries. Its a week before my period so can it be just related to my period?
There could be a cyst that is about to rupture or has ruptured, or it could be GI related.

It depends which side of the abdomen and if the pain is by the ribs or the pelvis. right high could be gallbladder and right low could be appendix. Also codeine reaction will give the same symptoms if you have taken any Tylenol 3, vicodin, anything with codeine in it . . . it causes severe stomach cramps.
