tearing abdominal pain

i am having severe tearing abdominal pain. it is mostly in the upper left part of my belly. it is excruciating to turn in bed, get out of bed, sit or stand, etc. it wakes me at night. i am also weak and naseous. i had gastric bypass 10 months ago. what is this?

Hi Jen,

I absolutely agree with Totie. You need to consult your surgeon or PCP sooner, rather than later. I assume you had the gastric by-pass performed utilizing the scope procedure. That normally does not produce a extreme adhesions....and if that is the case...it makes your pain even more concerning.

Please let us know what you discover. If your pain is extreme do not hesitate to go to Urgent Care or even ER.

You really need a doctor to examine you.....It could be scar tissue/adhesions, but really go get examined...
