to many meds?

One Dr puts me on a med for this and another for that. See what advice i can get pleas. To start Diagnosis
1) Fibromyalgia 2) DDD 3) Cardio my-opathy 4) Spondlyosis 5) hypertension 6) Obstuctive sleep apneia with CPAP
7) CFS and lastly depression, wonder why lol. Now for the meds Vicoden hp, flexeril, sevella, lyrica, valium, remeron, coreg, vasotec, HCT and niaspan and also lomotil prn. You would think I would be like a zombie but for some reason am not only avg 3.5 to 4 hours sleep. Pain meds just dull the pain sometimes! The only drug that I can say I have received any benifit from has been the sevella and lyrica (but still twitching a good bit. Main question could these drugs be interacting with one another and I am not getting the full effect?

I am not sure who told you that percocet has no addictive qualities or that it does not affect the liver but it is the same as the vicodin in that regard. percocet is a bit stronger than vicodin though.
There are the medications that have no Tylenol in them that come in time release formulas. This is what I was referring to that you talk with your doctor about.
As you already know you will not get total relief but enough that the pain is manageable.
I am glad to see your having your liver function test done as this is important when taking Tylenol for extended periods of time. The FDA has considered taking these types of drugs off the market as there are deaths from overdosing on Tylenol but it was not successful.
The extended release formula's may help you better with you pain relief. Also you could still use the vicodin for break thru pain as needed.

Thanks for the input sandee! I take Vicoden HP or vicoden 10/660 (the big boys). I am perscribed 4x daily but, some days might take 1x @ bed some days might take up to 6x only take when in extreme pain. Already have liver profile done about 2 monthes ago, everything looked good. I have some family members in medical field who are suggesting switching to percodan. Has no addictive qualitys and don't of course mess with liver. But very scared it wont help at all then I'll be stuck with it. Been on Vicoden for about 3 years. But like I said,  I more a less take it PRN. After being in this kinda pain for this long not looking for miracle pain relife med. just something to dull enough to at least get a good night sleep!!!! It's been so long!

I would not venture to even say if these drugs are interacting with one another as your taking numerous different medications.
I suggest you use the same pharmacy and always do so that way if there is an interaction the pharmacist will see it right away. Pharmacist are the most qualified to turn to for any kind of medication advice. They have much more training in drugs and interactions than even doctors.
There is no medication that is going to take all the pain away the most you can hope for is to get enough relief to function. This is a common mistake from Pt's they expect to get full pain relief from medications and this rarely happens. No one that suffers from chronic pain gets full relief but enough to dull the pain to an acceptable level.
Ho long have you been taking the vicoden and how much are you taking? The reason I ask is the amount of tylenol in vicoden is not good over long periods of time at higher doses. you may want to ask your doctor about an extended release medication. there are many different kinds.
Talk to your pharmacist about the medications your on and find out if there are any indications of interactions. Also speak with your doctor about your pain medication options as I said an extended release formula will work better for you.
Keep us updated and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
