6 year old has stomach pains after eating - please read

Not sure if this is the place to ask this question. but my 6 year old son sometimes complains of pain behind his belly button area after eating. its not every time and the pain doesnt seem to last long. he doenst have a fever, no diarrhea or nothing. i took him to a ped a while back and she felt his stomach and said its probably his diet. she didnt give him any meds or did xrays or anything. am getting more concerned and will take him to see someone again, but just thought i would ask the folks on here first if maybe they've dealt with something similar and can probably say what it is.

Perhaps he's not eating enough fibre and is not going to the potty regularly. His potty might be backing up and this might cause pain. Feel his stomach and see if it is tight. Also check how often he goes to the loo. Give him plenty of water and fibrous fruits and veggies.
