I had a similar problem when I was a child, drove my parents crazy.  The problem however was related to my "perfectionist" mindset.  I didn't want to leave the classroom and miss something and I would try to hold it instead.  I didn't feel it was appropriate for me to ask to use the restroom and at times I felt embarrassed to ask to use the restroom.  I would say to start off by talking to him and see if these might apply.  Being ADHD he may feel that he thinks he needs to go because of it instead of realizing that he actually needs to go.  Hope this helps.

I as well have this problem with my 8 year old daughter.  I have tried everything the doctors have thrown at me.  We have spent a small fortune chasing down a cure.  I think people think I'm lazy or a bad parent.  When I try to help her, it gets worse.  When I ignore it, it gets worse.  ITs best with just acknowledging it.  I'm grasping at anything here.  I'm sop worried this is going to make her a very lonely, teased child and make her unhappy.  I remember being teased and it ruined my life.  I know its just a matte of time before she gets teased.

Hi I have a 11 year old child and still wets, since the age of 3 years old.  He's also ADHD. Did you check if his wetting emotional or physical?  If he accidents on him self do not make it a big deal have him take responsibility by helping clean up.  Schedual is eating and drinking by time morning, noon, and night.  Have him us the bathroom every half hour to hour untill his accident is less.  My son medication has no affect on his wetting. Some medication lessens hunger.
