My 11 year old son still plays with, talks to, dresses up his stuffed toys. He takes them everywhere he goes, including school. His father buys him and his sister a new Webkins or Build A Bear every week or two. I've tried to talk to his dad, but he refuses to stop, and doesn't see anything wrong with it.
I'm worried that he's going to be made fun of. It just seems abnormal that he's still doing this at his age. He started puberty last year, and I guess I was expecting the stuffed toys to make a graceful exit by now. When should I start worrying?
He's a very sensitive boy; his step-father and I don't care if he's gay, but we're just trying to protect him...kids can be so cruel!
Thanks for listening, and thanks in advance for your comments.
