My 9 year old's imagination

My 9 year old daughter (who is ADHD) has a very active imagination. It does not concern me or those close to her, except my husband (her stepdad). He loves her dearly but thinks her imagination is not age appropriate and he is generally concerned. She still loves her stuffed animals and says they talk to her, she likes wearing a cape (and would wear it to school if I let her), she says she can talk to animals, ect. She loves to pretend. We talk to her about when and where it's appropriate to behave certain ways. But he thinks there is more to her then just an over active imagination. Should I be worried? Her pediatrition isn't, nor is her teacher. She's always been a little....off. But I figured that was just a personality quirk. Any suggestions?

I dont think you need be at all concerned a lot of children without ADHD have active imaginations and talk to their toys, and your Doctor and her teacher say its normal, why is your husband questioning all of you,? Is she on Medication for the ADHD as sometimes that can have side effects of negative behavior but this doesnt sound negative to me.
