i need your opinion
my nepjew 7 year old his moms boyfriend makes him stand in a corner with his knees bent and his arms straight with a pencil between his forefingers if he moves he has to stay longer. he said it really hurts. is this child abuse or is there something wrong with me. you dont torture a chil like that. he is not that bad of a child. is this normal , abuse or torture? mandy876

she knows and said they cant make him mind. she threatens him if he is not good she will tell his daddy. itis not his real daddy but he thinks it is. the last time they came up he wanted to stay. he asked me how i would punish him. i told him he was a good boy but if he did do something wrong we would sit down and talk about it. and try to figure out what went wrong. then we would get my laptop out and you would have to look at it and wait 2 minutes and figure out what you wanted to play wnile you thought about things. if you were really bad which you never are i would not let you play the computer until we worked things out. but i would love you no matter what. he said i love more than anyone. i said i love you more than anyone. he has a 1year old brother when he gets near him they holler at him. but he more likely is protecting him. mandy876
Mandy, have you told your sister how awful this is? Sometimes mothers pretend not to notice that their lovers torment their children, but she needs to know loud and clear that this is unacceptable and her primary job is to protect her child, not have sex with this loser.

I feel sorry for such a child to have A. a mother that gives up parenting her child that easy to a mean boyfriend and B. that he must endure whatever this dude comes up to make him suffer.
And if he is young, yes. Expect this to get worse as he gets older. Sounds like a toxic situation that I'd want to rescue this kid from.
