not enough sleep?

I have a 6 year old boy.  Because we live in a 1 bedroom apartment, there is no quiet and private space for my son to go to sleep at an earlier hour than when we, his parents, go to sleep.  My husband is a 'night-owl' who is unwilling to change his habits, so our son goes to sleep when we do, around 11:30 pm usually.  We wake him up at 8 to go to daycare at 8;30 - kindergarten starts at midday for him.  He seems fine, though I worry that he is sleep deprived.  Could it be that he is fine or does any misbehavior, which he has had some recently, be due to not enough sleep?

As he isnt displaying any behavior problems dont worry too much, can he catch up on sleep at the weekends a bit, perhaps you could send him to bed earlier than you guys creep around not to disturb him, maybe good to ask your husband to be more flexible on the time frame, you will get a bigger place in the future so bide your time till then ,nothing stays the same.... Good Luck
