My daughter calls her brother dad

Approximately 8 months ago my 15 year old daughter moved in with my 24 year old son. Previously she had lived with my ex and visited me regularly. Since moving in with my son and his wife she still visits, although a little less often. She has started calling him dad despite my objections. Equally troubling, my son says he thinks it s ok because he is filling the role. In fact, I shouldn t voice my disapproval because it stresses her out. I contend that she can acknowledge his willingness to sacrifice while continuing to refer to him as brother and myself as dad.  Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that she's found a way to stick her thumb in your eye.
