Hi my sons 2yrs old his lips keep turning blue alot lately, I wasn't sure if it was because I've recently just got him off bottles so he's not drinking as much and I put it down to him being thirsty, but he suffers from hayfever and has had constant colds and viruses, should I be worried? The doctor seems to think he's fine.
My 15 mo old has also been doing this and we had her heart checked out and all was good there the heart doc thinks it could be acid reflux but not sure. It is really weird
my son is 20 months old. last night is when he started with his episodes. i took it as a chill. today he had 3 episodes in less than 3 hours. his lips went blue and his whole face went straight pale. the last episode scared the crap outta me. i looked over to my sitting little boy and he looked like a corpse. i kidd you not! he looked like the living dead. i froze. regained my composure and called the peds. they told me to bring him in. they were concerned about a heart murmur, ceisures, etc. his oxygen was normal, his slight heart murmur is still only slight, and of course, by the time i got him there, he was completely normal looking. they sent me to get a chest xray. he may have swallowed something that is trying to work its way out and he is choking on it. i would have to say no to that tho. he plays normal and continues to breathe. no eye rolling. no loss of balance. happens during eating and happens during play. happened during 2 diaper changes laying flat on the floor. it's soooo random. with no explaination, their only words to me were, GET IT ON VIDEO. they want to see what i'm talking about. needless to say, my camera is attached to me like glue and of course, my little zombie baby has not come out for his big debut. guess my camera scared the blue outta him??? i hope tomorrow brings normalcy. he went through so much today. my heart goes out to all the parents and babes out there with no answers. god bless and good luck
Toddler is 2yrs old today he's fever is 103.8 an notice his pee very dark yellow what's going with him
could the toddler's blue lips be related to one of the parent's Raynauds condition?
Anyone considered having the hypothalmus checked? Hormone irregularities? Just suggestions....
