5year old put on make up

Hello Please I need your help. Out of the blue my 5yr old son opened my blush took a brush and started to put on make up. when I asked him why he is doing it. He said that he wants to look beautiful because there is a beautiful boy in his class ( his friend of a week) and he( my son) likes his hair and wants to look as beautiful. my son is handsome himself  I have never noticed any thing like that before. Although my husband says that sometimes his gestures are a bit feminine. he is not very good at sports and a little bit craven. from the other hand he says that he likes a girl in his class and asked me if he could get some gift for her. And since he was very little he loved paying attention to women's cleavage. when he saw a women at the beach with the cleavage he could not get his eyes off of them. and always pulled down the shirt of every female that would hold him. Please help me I am desperate to know if my son turned gay or it is just a phase? also  b/r he was 4 he could stand up for himself and if s/body would hit him he would hit back now he is scared .

Well if you breast fed him there is your answer to him liking ladies Bosoms , I knew a little boywho was  breast fed for 18 months and there after he would run up to his Mom to snuggle and pat her bosoms in front of anyone, most people take no notice its part of the bonding and loving and he was remembering how he felt when his Mommy fed him.I think a lot of children love to play with make up I doubt if that will affect any Gay Issues he has, but time will tell.
